The Lagos Oil Club represents an association of people who are interested in all aspects of the energy sector. The Lagos Oil Club members include individuals from upstream and downstream sectors of oil and gas, power, utilities, the emerging renewable energy sector, as well as banking and consulting.
The principal objectives of the Club are:
Education – Provide background and firm understanding of all areas encompassing the energy sector.
To allow members the opportunity to meet, discuss, promote and generally to consider matters concerning petroleum and energy related industries
Awareness – Provide a forum for professionals and organisations to meet and explore pressing issues in the energy sector.
Career – Assist in finding positions in the energy sector and companies to find highly qualified employees.
Networking - We have built a growing global network of industry people and the Club brings this network to great use to advance knowledge, research, technology transfer and the development of indigenous expertise in the Nigerian Oil Industry.
The club shall run events giving members of the club the opportunity to hear and participate in programmes and briefings by specialists of international standing. These events will include speakers, career forums, site visits and social events.
